Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought or homemade Pie Crust
  • 6 slices Bacon, cooked and chopped

  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  4. Assemble by spreading the chopped bacon and grated Gruyère cheese over the pie crust.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overbaking to prevent a rubbery texture.
